Even though I live in a built up area, the nearest bus stop is over a mile away. I have to drive there then get the bus along the main road for two miles to get to my regular work. £2.50 return.
My other job is driving for deliveries and collections. I could hardly use roller skates for that.

I drive a (currently) smoking, overheating, $250 pile of junk.
This reminds me, I need to get gas or I won't make it down to school.

Car. Good ol' 92 Buick LeSabre. It's a great car! I haven't had any problems with it and it's started every day this winter.

I have to walk to class. I live too close to get a parking permit and on too busy of a street to brave a bike. It takes me about 15-20 minutes depending on what part of campus I am going to.

well i drive to work too, its about 4 miles in to town and theres only 1 bus every hour and non before 0600 or after 1900 which is shit for my shifts.
Parking is a bastard as well though as its £4.50 a day when you cant find a free spot.
My other job is mobile PC repairs which cant really be dont anyother way than by car.

I drive to work right now since it is winter. When spring comes around I may start biking to work. My current job is only 2 miles from my place.
