I started alittle early this year with my spring cleaning.  Aside from clearing out stuff I no longer need or want I also do alot of cleaning.  I cleaned just over 100 catridges this weekend.  Case and contacts both cleaned and put back in there homes.  Does anyone else have a certain time of year when they go all out and clean there games and such ?

I don't clean anything until it reaches a critical point where I get pissed off at being unable to find anything anywhere and I go through a day of hardcore cleaning and reorginization in my room. I'm hoping we move before this happens again.

I've been tidying my room today and yesterday. I found a couple of Gamecube games left over from when I traded the console  for an Xbox 360 in October. I took them to an indie shop today and got a bit of cash for them. I've still got quite a lot to clear up. My idea of "tidying up" usually just means moving crap out of my room into the spare bedroom and shuffling what's left around to another part of the room.

I always clean games as I buy them, at least I do now.  I spent a few days a couple months ago going through and taking off stickers, names, and plain ol' dirt from all my games.
I try to keep everything organized but once garage sale season starts up again, I'm sure I'll get overwhelmed with stuff.  I do dust stuff occasionally when I have nothing better to do, last week I cleaned up my room a little, I separated all my non-gaming stuff from my gaming stuff and re-arranged my extra systems.

I am evil. I never dust.

I do random reorganizing from time to time. Like Leon though eventually i get sick of shit being haphazard and not being able to find things so i go thru a rediculous cleaning/rearranging phase.

Unlike Leon it generally takes me 2 or more days...

If I buy used games, I usually take off the stickers after I test them & before I move them into the collection population.

"Used" stickers are pet peeve. I like having all my games look as if they're new from the outside even if they're not.

CD games are nice because you can buy empty cases by the dozen and use them to replace covers and backs.

Hahahaha. I'm the same way. I truly loathe cleaning. I do, without failure if not grudgingly. give every cart I buy a thorough swabbing with Q-tip and alcohol. Otherwise I just cover all of my computers and consoles with towels and such to keep off the layers of dust that's on just about everything else in my house.   razz
