from Kotaku by Brian Ashcraft

Everyone's jumping ship! Yesterday Capcom announced that Devil May Cry 4 would be appearing on the Xbox 360. Recently, a trio of PlayStation games have appeared on the Block Buster data base. Those games included Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, Ace Combat 6 and Beautiful Katamari. All titles are published by Namco, who has supported the Xbox 360 since the beginning. A recent issue of Famitsu reveals that the sixth installment of the PlayStation flight simulator Ace Combat will be finding its way to the Xbox 360 sometime this year with Xbox Live support. Wonder if Warhammer and Katamari can't be too far behind... Brian Ashcraft

Eds Note: As far as we can tell from the above article, Ace Combat 6 is an Xbox 360 exclusive, which it may or may not be. Don't have confirmation on this, so stay tuned for official announcements!

Sweet. With Namco on board, hopefully the 360 will get Soul Calibur 4 as well.

Glad to hear 360 is getting Katamari apparently. Too bad it won't sell very well.

Based on the sales of Viva Pinata, a great game by the way, family friendly games just don't sell very well on 360.

And with rumors circulating that MGS4 and Resistance:FoM will be ported to 360, there will be few PS3 exclusives left outside of those created by SCEA and Square-Enix.

I haven't heard anything about FFXIII or any other S-E games being ported over, have you?

No I haven't but SE went back to Nintendo and FF XII (was that the MMORPG?) was on the 360. Plus I have said it before with teh cost of games 3rd party exclusives are going to get rare IMO.

FF XI  Wink Project Sylpheed is another SE game for the 360 as well, so they are hardly strangers to the 360 anymore. I figured if GTA IV could be had then anything else is open season, multiplatform or not. Exclusive I'm sure with a hand dipping into Microsoft's warchest.

Dude, Resistance will NEVER come to 360. RFoM was published by SONY! Also, the developer of the game, Insomniac Games, has stated that they have no desire to move over to 360 because Sony has treated them well in the past and continue to do so. In fact, I think MS did offer them the chance to make a game, but Insomniac said no.

No loss there, just another shooter. I think all three systems could use a lot less of them. Sure the odd one is good once in a while but I don't think the store shelves need to be clogged with them.

I agree that the world needs less shooters Tan. If there's one genre that's way too overdone, it's shooters, especially WWII shooters. However, Resistance is pretty darned good based on the demo I played.
