I've been looking forward to this one. Mouse/Keyboard superiority aside I loved the PS1 C&C games and had no problems with using a controller. I strayed from the series when Generals came out so I'm a bit out of the loop.

WOW! I have never heard anything good about the PS1 C&C. I am looking forward to this. I will still get it for the PC though.

The PS1 Red Alert had a easy pick up and play vibe about it. Sort of like the Age of Empires for the DS. If you wanted a hardcore game that may last hours, play the PC version. Half hour slaughter before bed, PS1.  Cheesy

Hey Tan, if you like RTS games did you pick up LOTR: BFMEII for the 360? It actually flows quite well.

Not yet but I probably will soon. I've heard it controls quite well on the 360's pad. I wouldn't be surprised if C&C spawns a 360 Mouse at some point or an update to use a usb mouse like the keyboard has already.

Looks like I'll be waiting a week or so anyways. Silver members don't get access to allot of the goodies until after a week or two after the Gold members do.  Tongue

Downloaded the demo yesterday and played through basic training and the first mission. The controls were pretty solid, but will take some getting used to.

The C&C demo is pretty cool. You have "basic training" where you learn the controls. 2 "story" missions, and then you can also play people on the demo server. I'll probably give the head to head match up a shot after a few more tries on the mission.

So start it and leave it. I am not sure how long mine took. I started it then went out to lunch.
