For some reason, I lost the ability to "Browse" my PC for a photo when I click on Additional Options in the posting preview area. Anyone know how to get it back?

All image uploading to the site has been disabled until the transfer to the new server is completed. You'll have to ask Dave when that is though. Smiley

Here's a link to the announcement made a week ago.

So for now, using image links from other places is the only thing we can do.

The links give away the title for the photo I want to submit. I guess I'll have to wait until image upload is back up and running.  Tongue

Tell people not to look at the link, it's that simple. Wink

We're all pretty mature here, I'm sure nobody would look if you say so. Tongue

I'm probably not the best person to write a tutorial, but I will give it a try.

How to post an image from imageshack.
1. Find a screen shot image you want to use.
2. Right click on the image and select "Save image as"
3. Name the image something simple like "movie"
4. Go to a free image hosting site, like imagshack.
5. Upload your image.
       - At imageshack "browse" your PC and select the image you wish to upload then click on "stat upload!"
6. Imageshack will have direct link, copy and paste the line of text to your reply window here at RFgen.
example of a direct link...
Code:
http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/5600/moviea.jpg

7. Click "preview", at your preview screen you can "Add BBC tags:" here you can highlight your direct link and select the icon directly above the first smiley face, it looks like [img width=23 height=22]http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/6092/imgu.gif[/img]
or

Type "img" in between brackets [] before your direct link. It should look like this...
Code:
Type "/img" in between brackets [] after your direct link. It should look like this...
Code:
[/img]

8. When done it should look something like this
Code:
[img]http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/5600/moviea.jpg[/img]

9. when you select "preview" again your image should appear like this...
[img width=700 height=298]http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/5600/moviea.jpg[/img]
