Oh yeah, one of my favorites. I believe it was the first anime I ever watched, it was either this or Akira.

Is it Alien 3? Only because I think I see Ripley in the background and it looks like a prison in space set but could be totally wrong.  Smiley

Yup.

I watched this in the theater, I don't know that it was opening night but opening weekend for sure. The audience was obviously not used to dubbed movies as that alone got lots of laughs but after a bit I think they all settled in and really enjoyed the movie.

Yeah, saw this in the theater as well. There was barely anyone there, basically just me, my brother, dad, and a couple other people from what I remember. Great movie
