Great list, but it's missing several great ones like Vexx, Full Throttle, Outlaws, Kinetica, Fantavision, Thrasher: Skate and Destroy, Comix Zone, River City Ransom, Samba De Amigo, American McGee’s Alice, and Okami.

However, I completely agree with XIII, Uniracers, Disruptor, Chu Chu Rocket, Psi Ops, Killer 7, Indigo Prophecy, Ico, Rez, Shadow of the Colossus, Eternal Darkness, Beyond Good and Evil, Grim Fandango, and Psychonauts.

Also: I like how the top 2 spots both go something Tim Schafer created.

Samba de Amigo ver 2000

I think it is a bit soon to pull the "sequel-less" card on last gen games.  Then again others have made bigger jumps in generations before, like NiGHTS, Metroid, and Shadowrun.  Keeping that line of thought, one can only hope for a Kid Icarus sequel.

Eggplant forever!

Seems to be a list for everything now-a-days Shocked

Also, I bet some of those "newer" games get sequels eventually. (Shadow of Colosus)

Technically there is a sequel for Adventure, oddly enough entitled Adventure II. Created for the Atari 5200 and available on Atariage. True it's an "unofficial" sequel but the way it's professionally made and packaged it might as well be thought of as the real deal.

There's also an Adventure 2.0 on the Atari Flashback 2 dedicated console that is really fun.

No, Shadow of the Colossus would never get a sequel. The only way it would get a sequel is if it were a spiritual successor much like Shadow of the Colossus was to ICO.

You could count Samba 2000, but I mean, it never came out here.

I definitely don't think so. With the way the games industry is going these days, your game has to suceed in the first year (most times shorter) in order to get a sequel. I highly doubt UbiSoft is going to pull a sequel for Beyond Good and Evil because it sold like utter crap.

As good a game as it is you can't sell the population on a sequel to a game they never played. More often than not when they do it's  remake or a completely different take on a license which just disappoints those fans no matter how few they are.

Riddick is another example, it's getting a remake because they figure with the low sales figures that no one would remember one of the best Xbox/PC games of the last few years and don't want to confuse them with a sequel to something they never experienced.

Tan, I mean that Full Throttle, the Tim Schafer one. Definitely not the SNES one Fuyukaze pointed out.

Dude. Grim Fandango. Get it now. It's amazing.

What, no Guardian Legend? That game would've been great on the SNES. Too bad nobody ever played it.
