Do you still play games with "Mario" in the title?

As much as Mario is the symbol of Nintendo, they really need a new character to build on.

I just hope they never pimp out Link too much.  While the Legend of Zelda series has always been one of Nintendo's biggies, I enjoyed it more when the series wasn't as over exposed as its become since the N64 days.

well i dont mind him at all, i think the Mario party games can be very good and even though its got some problems i am defiantly getting Mario party 8.

In fact sad as it sounds i like game company mascots, Sonic is still a good character its just a shame that hes bee in far too  may shit games lately.

None of the options in the poll really applied for me. I still play Mario 3 and Mario World and I enjoy them as much now as I did then. Same goes for Paper Mario. Mario games are hit and miss for me, don't care for SMB1 or SM64 and Diddy Kong Racing is better IMO.

I'm not adverse to playing SMB 3. I'm extremely unlikely to be playing a newer game with him since I have none of his systems.

I won't buy a game just because it has Mario in it, but I will buy a game if I think I'll like it, regardless of whether he's in it or not.

I dont care if it's got Mario in it as long as the game is fun.  If Nintendo was to release a game based around Iron Chef and it stared Mario I'd get it if I thought it was something I'd enjoy.  If they made a Mortal Kombat clone that stared Mario, I'd probly get it just for the ability to fatality Luigi.

Now that would be funny! I wonder if we could design a MK Armageddon look-alike for Mario. Have his fatality be a plunger stick to rip someone's face off...

If you need a reminder as to why Mario is still relevent, play Super Paper Mario. One of the best games I've played in a while.
