To be honest, I don't know anything about this game, but it appears to be really, really Japanese. Perhaps Kevincal would like to make more known of this game, or if you know something about I encourage you to talk about this game.

I remember the original version and the sequel for PSOne. It was a kinda lame fighter with swords and this one atrocious looking dude named Vermillion that used a gun. That's... all I can actually recall.

I played Battle Arena Toshinden a lot when it first came out on the PSX. I think it was the first 3d Fighter I played so it was really cool to me. I have never played the Saturn Remix.

With my first impresion of the Saturn being Myst and Virtua Fighter 1, I found it lacking.  Enough so I never gave this game a chance on it.  The PS1 version on the other hand was enough to make me very happy.  Though thinking about it, to this day I always find it odd I never got it.

Yeah I think that Battle Arena Toshinden was the first PSX game that I got to play.  It was pretty neat at first, but was quickly overshadowed when I found Tekken.  If I remember right each character had a special move or two, which then showed up in games like Marvel vs Street Fighter/Marvel Super Heroes/ect.

I actually have 2 copies of this one! It's an alright fighting game, but the story mode really ruins it for me. The voice acting is so bad you'd think it was a PS1 Capcom game.
