It sounds like something he made. Brass accent screws? seriously what prototype controller has screws sticking out of the front of it. Even if your just testing it it still has to be somewhat comfotable.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm already selling coke so I can buy this thing.

NOT!

It is kinda cool, but that price is ridiculous.  I don't know a darn thing about it, though.

meh. looks like a homemade controller to me. the Sega Genesis or Master System controllers both work on the 2600. how hard would it be to gut one, leave out the buttons that don't do anything on the 2600 and hand craft a custom casing? I'd like to see a cleaner photo of that thing to see how the Atari logo is applied.

actual prototype? I doubt it.

Again if you look the screws on it are even raised they arnt even set into the controller itself. How could you use it without getting serious annoyance atleast?

This is no prototype.  This guy just made the controller himself as Den suggested.  He had this up before with a starting price of 9.99.

Alright, I'll give credit where credit is due  Cool.  I just referenced Den because he went into more detail so it stuck out more in my mind.

The early version he mentioned is indeed very buggy, to the point that it's unplayable.  I just gave it a whirl, and it looked like it could've been a pretty cool game had it ever come out.  Hopefully whoever buys this dumps it so other gamers can get a chance to play an unreleased game.
