Okay.  I know nothing about Shadow Hearts so that's the problem.  I'm totally not a modern gamer.  Ever since Sega left the hardware market, I've fallen waaaay behind on modern developments.

I bought Shadow  Hearts at the same time i bought Halo 2.
I only had time to open the opening video sequence and alli can say is it looks amazing thus far.
It has beautiful cinematics, and the story line hooked me just from that opening cinematic.

It follows in the footsteps of other Midway games and has alot of gore and blood i will guess from the opening as well.
I will post more info after i have time to play more but this looks like i was spot on with saying this looked awesome.

In fact the first game was made by Sacnoth and published by Aruze (bastards who made the orginal SNK go bankrupt), only the western version was published by Midway.

Both Sacnoth and Azure have their names and logos plastered in the opening sequence and on the box if it is any consolation.

This game isn't too bad but it isn't as great as i had hoped.

It is still early yet i only havee aboutt 1 hour into it.

The battle music is TERRIBLE though.

Incase i haven't made it clear enough i am playing the first Shadow Hearts.
