how do I burn a .sit on windows?

A .sit (Stuffit) is an archive similar to .zip or .rar.

You'll need to look for a program that can open them before you can burn whatever is inside. I think that this used to be a Mac only extension and applicaitons that can open them have since been ported to Windows.

The one I used to use for Mac was the Aladdin Stuffit Expander (I think that was the name). I'd check to see if they have anything for Windows available.
