Have a foursome N64 party!  Goldeneye007, Perfect Dark, F-Zero X, Mario Kart, MARIO TENNIS, Wave Race.

The system was designed to accommodate four players and is one of the big reasons for my preference of it over the PS1.

The Dreamcast would make the list, but very few of its games are designed for four players.

Multi-player is fun any way I play it. In person, net or LAN.

Definitely in person. I play offline multiplayer with den68, ron mexico, and some others once a month to slaughter each other and by being in the same room it only adds to the fun! This month is my turn, so I'll be hosting the first Halo 3 multiplayer with the group and am looking forward to it.

I like online, but there's really little time to talk about the game just played for a few minutes before people just want to move on to the next game.

Playing in person is the only way!

Sadly though the people I used to play games with all joined the armed forces.  Cry

I'm a loner who doesn't really like Multiplayer. However, the few times my friends want to play with me I quite enjoy playing them face to face because it means my taunts are more sincere. Tongue

I've been put off online multiplayer by the few people who have annoyed me. One of them was someone in PGR3 who wouldn't stop saying "USA all the way. USA all the way. USA all the way...." which I think sums up most of the numpties on Live. There can be plenty of good players but it only takes one to ruin a game for me. The problem with online multiplayer is the randomness of who you will play. Will I offend someone by playing badly? Will I be put with someone who doesn't care for the game and drives the wrong way around the track?

If I'm playing face to face with someone it's more light hearted and we joke about each other's crapness, and we know we're only joking. I'm not likely to be called a "Limey n*****" by my friends. I wouldn't mind playing some games against people on my Live friends list (ie people on here) but they're almost never on at the same time as me. Wink

We need to set up an RFGeneration Xbox Live session.

All at the same place. When I was in MI a few months back it was a blast playing with Den, Phoenix and Sauza.

I prefer playing with actual humans in the same house. Tetris Attack, Warlords for the 2600, Bomberman for the Genesis.

I think it's fun both ways, but seeing the reactions on people's faces when you kick their ass in a game gives that little added touch Wink

Either way is cool.

I prefer playing "live" with certain people vs. digitally though because it throws in the human element of being able to physically disable, taunt, etc eachother rather than just yell into a mic or type Smiley
