I was reading a games magazine from 1996 and there's an article in it about E3. They have a list of the games that would be released for the sega saturn. Reading it over, I noticed there are a lot of games on that list that haven't had a release here. Maybe the name got changed, maybe it only got a release in the USA/Japan, maybe they never even finished. In short: Does anyone know what happened to these games?

College Slam - Acclaim
Iron man - Acclaim
Super Motocross - Acclaim
Star fighter - Acclaim (I have a game called starfighter 3000, but it's not by acclaim)
Werewolf the apocalypse - Capcom
Buster Bros Collection - Capcom
Major Damage - Capcom
Fox Hunt - Capcom
Shredfest - EA
The tick - Fox interactive
Barb wire - GT interactive
Project overkill - Konami
Kumite - Konami
Broken Helix - Konami
Lethal Enforcers 1&2 - Konami
Pinky and the Brain - Konami
Viper - Ocean
Project x2 - Ocean
Tennis Advantage - Ocean
Offensive - Ocean
Dawn of Darkness - Ocean
Down the dumps - philips (down IN the dumps maybe? still not a saturn release though)
Qad - philips
Garfield - Sega
Sonic X-treme - Sega
Heart of Darkness - Virgin
Dream Team Basketball - US Gold
Incredible Hulk 2 - US Gold
Speed Freak - US Gold

College Slam had a US release. Might the Iron Man game be Iron Man/X-O Man O War Heavy Metal? that had a US release as well.

You could be right about Iron Man because Iron Man/X-O Manowar in heavy metal has been published by acclaim. What about that Garfield game? I believe a genesis/mega drive garfield game was released. Could that be the same one?

I can understand The Tick not being released. It was about an escaped mental patient after all. laugh

There was a Tick game on the SNES though.

Garfield: Caught In The Act came out on the Genesis and the Game Gear.

The one on SNES was based off of the cartoon series though wasn't it?
