(Took place while playing Halo2)

So last night me and a clan member are just screwing around in the training grounds and we get beat by a team at territory. No big deal , its not ranked and the other team did a good job. In the post game review of stats I tell the blue team they did a good job and thanks for playing. Well then this guy from the other team just goes off calling us Fu**ers and all sorts of stuff. We stay clam and collected and tell him that he is an idiot and we would beat them at a slayer match easily. He continues swearing tyraid for a while longer and says "fine I know we will beat you *insert bad thing here*) So we take them to a menu and start slayer , we end up beating them like 50 - 22. Again we say nice game it was fun playing with you. The guy is biting his tounge.... (I can tell) He quickly challenges us again and ask if they can add another member. So we allow it and I get tynstar online at this point. Well we beat them again by a 2 - 1 margin. (like 50 - 25) He challenges us again and we whoop up on then=m again by the same score. Again I say nice game , thanks for playing. He then goes off on us and threatens us , ask me where I lived (I told him that would be a mistake) Anyhow , we ended up botting them and giving him negative feedback for language and threats.

My question is to you guys ..... Have you had issues with morons like this ?
(P.S. I doubt this guy is a dp board member. He is way too ignorant)

Oh yeah , and no offense to the younger members of DP , but I really hate playing against trash talking 10 year olds. Not that we have any 10 year olds on RF gen (or do we?)

The score was 50-26 and this is the RF Generation board not DP so fix the last part of your post.  Tongue

The guy was a complete jack ass. What does the feedback do anyways?

I used to get this ALL the time back on the original Diablo servers.  It wasn't quite the same since back then there were no parties and Diablo wasn't a game of opposition, but people using hacks and trainers talked like that a lot.  On Diablo II it was just as bad on Open Battle.net, but I never played there.  On closed Battle.net people would get REALLY obnoxious when they wanted a party invite.  I'd be somewhere in Act five killing Baal or something at level 90 with a party of people between 80 and 95 and a level 5 would want an invite so he could leech.  Of course when this request got denied, they would always start cursing and scrolling insults, etc.  Playing online can be fun, but there are so many people that ruin it, which is part of why I don't do it more often.

As for CS, I've never played online, but through watching friends, some of those people might be the worst of the worst.

People can get way out of hand online. I played for all of 5 hours and some people were nice and coached me thru some stuff(because they got stuck with me) and others cussed me out at the end of match(guy on other team who i killed 5 times and got by him once with the flag).
It is all chance who you end up playing with unless you only play with people who you know.

I played a game on Monday and three or four guys started taking the game way too seriously.  They started trash talking which is fine, but then they started getting really vile spouting off things like "F*** you yuou little f****t.  Thats why I f****d your mother last night."

I tend to let the f bomb slip every once in a while, but there is no reason to go on a rant like that.  You never know who your playing and who can hear what your saying.

When I am playing with friends we may say awww F**k if we die or trash talk , but its not meant as an insult or to be bad.

I might even say something like you got spanked if I walk up behind a guy and gun butt his head. Thats always a fun kill  Smiley But I always try to say good game to the other guys / teams if I win or lose.

I am all about trash talking. But I don't sit there and drop F bombs and talk about peoples mothers.

It really bugs me that people can't just say good game.

We had one group beat us last night they started talking shit and when we went to reply they left the party..

Oh well.... Roll Eyes

I have played Mechassualt and I dont think the swearing was bad. However the trash talk level was almost legendary shrug I dont have a problem with trash talking if its all in good taste. Personal attacks really are not needed.
