Starting a clan can be tough.... Sure the perks of being an overlord are nice Tongue But getting a solid group of people who wont argue and compliment each others skills is tough. Not to mention people who are both good at the same thing (sniping) In my clan I have 4 really good snipers , but  2 of them are better than the others. Anyhow , look me up on live tonight and I will give you some advice.  Wink

I have some general clan advice that should carry over to any game...

Don't take people in based on skill alone. Play with them for a bit to make sure that you A: work well together and B: can tolerate them. Being that there are so many n00bs around it may not hurt to pick up some lower level players that are really into it and want to do something with it. That way folks can learn and improve together Wink Just don't pick up everyone that says lemme join your clan. Make sure they actually want to play first. A weeklong tryout period prolly wouldn't hurt. All the teams I've ever been captain of had a 2 week tryout, half the time without the rookie knowing it was a tryout. Takes the pressure off them a bit and lets em have some fun with it.

So not really multiplayer related but kinda I suppose. Where the hell was everyone tonight? I mean like -nobody- was around after 9ish. I played Halo 2 for 12 hours straight today but mostly single player. I'm halfway through and I got sooo damn lucky!

So when I was after the heritic (playing as the elite) I ran out of ammo totally. I couldn't find a replacement weap or any ammo so I had to fight my way out of there strictly by stickin em. I firmly believe that had I not been used to playing with peeps that kick the living shit out of me I wouldn't have had a chance in hell...heh I used the sword through the whole thing till the end too. I'm getting pretty decent with it.

Anyways it's 2:16am here now. If anyone's still awake and tryin to play some Halo lemme know. I doubt I'll be sleeping anytime before the sun rises. Halo owns me...hehe

A small list of fixes and and additions Bungie says they are implementing.

I am especially happy about the bit for cheaters.
As for the glitches like sword flying, flag bouncing and grabbing thru walls that is kind of a dissapointment. But in the end it makes the game more skill based than trick based.

I don't care what they do as long as we can still go to McDonald's and other nifty places.

Laurel and Sensei_Fu .....

I went hard on you both last night in that team slayer match on the Mounds. I was just trying to push you both. Playing tough competition is part of the game and you both want to get better. Most of the time I "fluff" off when playing with friends , but you both have been asking to get better. Anyhow , I am sure it was frustrating......  ninja

For me not really. I really appriciate that you don't take it easy on me cause I'm a chick and a n00b. I don't want no easy kills. I wanna earn em.

If Bungie can get rid of all cheats and glitches I think the game is that much better.

I kinda figured you had the gloves off since you got 45 out of 50 kills by yourself in team slayer.

I just want to get better, and there doesn't appear to be a wealth of info on how to do it.

CN, if you have time, I'd like to chat with you later about some things.
