My lower back is killing me. I think it's because I play Halo 2 for hours while sitting forward in my Lazy Boy chair. Anybody else ever experience this?

Yes! (kinda). For me it's my middle-lower back and it's cause of the way I sit (and lay) when I'm playing. I tend to sit up on my bed "indian style" but kinda hunched over a lil...lol or lean on my left arm an lay on my side. The first one caused the middle-lower back pain after a few hours and now all the time. The second caused shoulder pain and I even fucking dislocated it twice (and that seriously hurt).
Recommendation - Biofreeze. I dunno if you can get it in a drug store but my chiro and other chiropractors in the area carry it. It's like super duper icy hot and the shit really works. Comes in your average greasy stuff in a tube and roll-on form. I prefer the roll-on. That shit'll dull the pain so quick you won't know you had it

I just wanted to say that I didn't mind Bungie resetting the stats, but I can't stand playing with these screws who run at a guy with a rocket launcher when all they have is an SMG.
I was playing Team Slayer on Beaver Creek with BR's a few days ago and I get set up with one guy who is at about my level and two kids who suck worse than anything I've ever seen. We jumped out to an early lead and I was messing up the other team. It even made two guys on the other team quit. That's when the two screws start acting up. In a matter of 20 seconds, they each got killed like 2 or 3 times and the other guy I was playing with said "what the hell are you two doing" and quit as well.
So now it's me and these two pricks against this other team. The two guys that were left on the other team were horrible as well making this even more bitter. The other team started slaughtering my teamates so instead of hiding back a little and playing strategically, I had to go on the offensive and try to take away the sniper rifle and rockets. That just lead to me dying more often than not, so I just said fuck it and coasted for the rest of the game. The only time after that that I tried was when one of them started running thier mouths after they killed me.
By the end of the game, the guys on my team had nearly 20 deaths a piece and a handful of kills. I had 10 deaths or so to, but I was just b.s.ing for half the game. I can't stand having these shitty players who refuse to learn on my team, but I like playing with random people. It is a quandary.

I hate playing with random people for the reason you just described.

I'd never play a matchmaking game without a full team if my rank was at all important to me.
As much as many of us like to bitch about it, rocket and sword whoring are a part of the game and if we were matchmaking, you'd better bet I'd do it too.

I think I'm going to take a few days off from Halo. My back is really bothering me now and I hope a few days of rest will cure it.

I'd like to play the game variant known as Mike Myers/Halloween where the guy who plays the killer has to play scary music through his headset to alert others that he's coming.
I was thinking of using the theme to Jaws, Lunatic Fringe (by Red Rider), or Welcome to the Jungle (Guns and Roses).
Can anyone suggest anything better?

Do the CTF and King games play out fairly well? What's your overall thoughts?
I'm looking for info on them because I'm trying to get ideas to put together some good 2 vs 2 game variations for an offline multiplayer game.

I think the 2vs2 objective based games work very well actually. I'm very tired as I've just finished a 7 1/2 all night session so here's what I remember playing (2vs2 games)...lol
Rifles (BR & Snipes only) on Lockout, Acension, & Warlock
Classic CTF & CTF (both multi flag) on Warlock
Crazy King on Warlock
1 Flag CTF on Lockout
Slayer on Acension
If I misspelled anything it's cause I've been awake for 22 hours now. I'mma go do the temp coma thang. Hope that helps
