Very nice. Both games are excellent. Snagged them at low prices. Enjoy.

This came in the mail today:

Paid £18 + shipping. Probably a bit too much, but well worth it for a CIB Final Fantasy game imo. After I got the lot I saw another one that was at £3 with a day to go so I was like "Oh, man!...." but eventually it went for £24. Tongue

This came with today's mail:

I paid £12.61 + shipping and it's in near-mint condition. Smiley

I've got FF7 coming my way, so all I have left to find is FF3 and FF6. Cheesy
Interesting note: the PAL "FF Anthology" is a compilation of FF4&FF5, while the NTSC version is a compilation of FF5&FF6. I have no idea why they used the same name for 2 different compilations, though. It makes things a tad bit confusing. Tongue

The FF series loves to do that. I don't think there is any particular reason behind it.

It has RP so its from before the game was released. Going to have to find out if there is a different one with the T rating on it.
Also supposed to be b1G1 free. Damn well better get a second one in that tube.

Got it for £24.00 + shipping. A bit more than I would have hoped, but it was the only way for me to get FF7. Before I won this auction, I was overbid on about 3-4 other FF7 auctions, both Platinum and non-Platinum. It's amazing to see this game still in such high demand.

The lot is a bit odd, seeing the discs and manual are Platinum, but the box is not. I see it as a little bonus, because when the game is closed, it looks just like the "real" non-Platinum version. Tongue Also, the discs are in near-perfect condition, so all in all I'm very pleased. Smiley

(FF7 will only get more expensive as the years pass, anyway, so it's better to get it now than wait another few years)

I know here the prices for FF7 have finally started to level off. It was getting up to and over 100$s for an original copy.

Anyways won a v.smile baby game
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...:IT&item=220375486024

That ones not going to get played since i abhor the teletubbies.
Got bids in on a few more and hoping i can get those. It is actually a good deal of competition for these damn things.

That's just rediculous. The game isn't even rare (as in: only few copies exist). Anyway, I'm glad I got mine, another one of those 'hard' to get games of my list. Cheesy

With these recent purchases, FF3 and FF6 (those aren't the same games) are the only ones I've left to buy. I don't have any money at the moment, but FF6 will be bought of eBay in the next month or two. Smiley (FF6 was released as a standalone game on PS1 in 2002)

For FF3 I'll probably end up buying a real Famicom and stuff, but that won't be for a while.

GameCube RGB Cable: €14 + shipping. Maybe a little pricey for a cable, but then again it's official Nintendo, has the box and really makes a difference. It takes away that "blurry filter" you get from using Composite. Smiley

Still cheaper than what they'd go for in stores back when they were still available. Wink

EDIT: Also, I have no problem with paying a little extra for a good cable. Spending a lot of money on a console but not on the actual thing that brings the video to your TV doesn't make much sense to me. Unfortunately, a lot of gamers don't realise this and play their PS2/GameCube/Xbox games through the standard Composite, a shame.

I agree about spending money on good cables. They make a world of difference. It's no different than spending good money on audio cables for your surround sound. If you're going to spend the money on nice equipment, why do yourself a disservice by cheaping out on the accessories?

Seen the price of a GameCube component cable in the last 5 years? You can buy 4-5 of those RGB cables for the price of one component cable. Tongue
