Haha nice one. To be honest Gears of War never really crossed my mind when I saw this. Exclusives like this and No More Heroes are what I would love to see more of on the Wii.

I have no idea. Perhaps it is simply the notion of violence on the Wii that gets people so excited. I take back my earlier comment though, it looks like Manhunt with black and white cel-shading.

I don't get it either.
I'm not sure what the game is about or how you even go about killing people.

I find it odd that Nintendo would allow such a violent, gore-infested game on their beloved Wii, considering the direction that console is going.


But that aside: the game looks ok but I find it hard to become excited about this. The black & white makes it somewhat boring/harder to look at.

Manhunt 2 was released on the Wii last year, though it was gimped into an M rated game. I think overall when one takes a look at the bigger picture, killing Japanese (CoD5), killing gangsters (Scarface), killing convicts (Manhunt), a parody of the Running Man (Madworld) is just another avenue used to promote the Wii as being a system for everyone's tastes.

Who knows, you may walk into a room someday and see soccer mom A or grandparent B "choking a bitch" or "gutting someone" with a Wii remote, right before they feed their Petz and put a round of golf in. Tongue
