If we include arcade games , then my total for games beat is going to become a lot bigger.

I am debating though if you can consider some games beatable ?

Like Gauntlet  , as far as I know there is no ending for the arcade version. I made it to level 426 (give or take a few levels) on one quarter. And I didnt even die at that point , my Mom made me come home Sad

And what about games like Pitfall for the 2600 ? That  game goes on forever as well , yet I know I scored really high because I turned my score into Atari and got a Pitfall patch (I can remember the name exactly)

If games like that are included then I have tons more to add.

Obviously if the game can't be beaten it wouldn't be on a beat list.
Gauntlet you could either put in a high score list or in an "Unbeatable" list where you just list how far you got.

I havn't played that many arcade games myself.
and the ones i have wer shooters or classics where you can only get hgih score.

here's my very short and very not impresive list of games I've beaten:

NES - Strider

Genesis - NHL 96

PS1 - Crash Bandicoot 1 & 2, Army Men 3D

PS2 - Harry Potter - Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter - Prisoner of Azkaban, Pro Race Driver, Parappa the Rappa 2

The number of games you have beaten is also really dependend on which genre you like. Metal Slug can be finished in an hour, while Star Ocean takes really much more.

Suprigingly few. I have never beaten a coin-op at all. Altough I could stay on a couple of pinball tables long enough to consider them "beat"

Lethal Weapon 3 and Adams Family being my 2 best ones.

I have completed a few adventure games. If the criteria for a completed game was wide, and the judgment generous towards me, then  I might get into the low 30's with games.

for example, I am not yet "ELITE" rating, on ELITE. But "DEADLY" when my rating turns to ELITE, I wlill consider that fame done.

I actually got to the end of the Safari Hunt lightgun game, on the Master system! A lot of people think that there is no end, but there is. A message flashes on the screen "go hunt the hun with a real gun". Oh, and I finished that lightgun game, where you have to help the soldiers through the levels.....

hmmmmmmmm   maker tha low 40's, in all the games i've finished.

I really, really, really hope you're joking.  Buying that many copies of a game and then not playing it would make you the strangest person ever....  except for me.

Try to beat NAM-75 on Neo Geo. It's almost impossible as whhen you're at the last boss, you can't continue anymore. (oh I never beated the game myself, with Viewpoint it are the only two Neo Geo games I haven't beaten I think)

I never beat  operation wolf coin-op,  my psycho mate (used to play 2player) always shot the pilot, but without him, I couldn't get to the last level.

I beat Who Wants to Beat up a millionaire today. Yaaayyy me. Actually not much of an accomplishment.

On a larger scale i almost unlocked everything in Marvel vs Capcom 2. All that is left is some Alt. costumes and a level or 2. Those i should have by tomorow easily.
