It's now Christmas!

The only TV I know of that's worth looking forward to is a new Wallace and Gromit. They've been in some idents for BBC but they were computerised, which worried me because using clay was what's so special about it. BBC finally showed an advert for the new episode last night and it's still done with clay. Smiley

Wallace and Gromit are hilarious! I loved Curse of the Wererabbit. The same guy did Chicken Run as well if I'm not mistaken ("Chickens is organized!").

I agree that they should always be done in claymation.

Nick Park also did Creature Comforts, interviews with animals about general topics. I love his style.

I'm now watching a Dr Who Christmas Special.

Presents:

  • Race Driver: Grid (Xbox 360)
  • Dark Knight (DVD)
  • 500GB Hard Drive.
  • I Can Has Cheezburger book! I wanted this but didn't even say anything. My sister bought it for me.
  • Loads of chocolates and sweets
  • A book about Minis (The car)
  • A bottle of L&P, a drink from New Zealand
  • A CD of a New Zealand band
  • Lots of random junk
  • £20

Food:

  • 7.8Kg turkey
  • A gammon joint
  • A beef joint
  • Sauasage meat
  • Random stuffing
  • Sausages wrapped in bacon
  • Brussels sprouts with chestnuts
  • Roast potatoes
  • Cooked cauliflower/carrots/broccoli
  • Apple sauce
  • Home made cranberry sauce
  • Christmas pudding

I didn't provide a list this year because no one ever gets me much of what's on it...In return I didn't really get much of anything. I think this is the first year I spent more on things than the value of what I received, and it feels just fine.

Got some books, a CD, Fear and Loathing Criterion Edition, Pajama pants and slippers. They also got me a plug-in radiator for my room, but I already had one and it shorts out the fuse...so that may be a hundred-ish bucks to put towards something, either a gun or a new external hard drive.

My mom and I went out at 8am this morning and she bought me a bunch of new pants and a pair of shoes. First real new clothes I've gotten in about three years, she kept complaining about the invincible stains and patched holes on my old stufff...

Some good deals out there purportedly, hell if I know what clothes should cost; all too much in my opinion.
