I was wondering what you favorite handheld system is.

For me it's the Neo Geo Pocket, as it has a great contol and games. I still think that the beat 'm ups on NGP are the best avaible for any handheld, because the special moves are much better to preform then on GBA for example. Also almost all games we're top-quality (only dislike the casino games and dive alert)

I said GBA.
I have never rreally gotten to spend much time with other handhelds only the gameboys.
So GBA wins because it can play all of the other GB & GBC games.

I think if i had ever played a Nomad that would have won though.

Game Boy Color, only for the huge amount of games. The wonderswan color and neo geo pocket color are both technically better, but they haredly have games that are of interest to me.

I said the GBA:SP because I haven't played most of the other ones and with my SP I can play my Game boy and Game boy color games along with my GBA games.

I said the SP because it can play all the previous GB stuff. I have the "classic" SP and love it.

The wonderswan looks pretty nice though. I wouldnt mind having one.

GBA SP. Overall this is really the perfect handheld. Being backwards compatable it has a huge library of games. The DS does too but while I don't yet have one I have tried one out and I prefer the SP's more compact size.

The lighted screen and rechargable batteries are huge. None of the external light attachments I've tried are worth a crap in  my opinion. The Lynx and Game Gear are both backlit but both are also quite bulky, especially the Lynx and battery life is atrocious.

The fact that it folds up also keeps the screen from getting scuffed up.

I don't know that I'd include the Virtual Boy as a handheld. That thing is an entity unto itself.

One you forgot to mention was the Watara Supervision. Though it is easily forgettable.

I am in the minority here.
But I proudly support VIRTUAL BOY!!!!!!!
Of the 13 games i've played and own, I've only ran into one that was somewhat of a dissapointment, and that is Waterworld. the rest are at least playable; vertical force, Golf, 3d tetris and Wario land are top notch games; Mario tennis is nothing to be sneezed at; and Red Alarm made great use of the 3d. If only it had survived to the point when G-zero(a VB F-zero) had come out...but alas, my dreams were crushed.

Is the VB considered a handheld? It sits on a stand when you play it.
