Just wondering. What are some slangs used in your area?

TP'ing = the act of covering a house or area in front of a house with toilet paper
garage sale = a sale of unwanted items on your porch, in your yard, etc.
daddy long leg = the kind of spider (or spider-like creature) that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs

Hey Freak, your first set isn't specific to your region nor is your second set. Pittsburghese however, is an entirely different language...lol

Well, this isn't slang, but in Michigan everybody adds an s to the ends of words that don't need it. For example; "I'm going to Wallmart
s
to pick up some shit."
It is pretty annoying.

Really? I don't remember people doing that. I will have to pay attention closely next time I talk to my brother.

In Cincinnati:
Please? - means "I didn't understand what you said, could you repeat that."
Three way - a local chili dish
Four way - local chili dish with beans/onions
Five way - local chili dish with beans and onions
You know you are from Cincinnati if:
Your favorite convience store sounds like a local union (United Dairy Farmers).
You have had goetta.
You know Kentucky is in the south, Cleveland is in Canada, and Cincinnati is in the midwest.
You know that Graeter's is the best ice cream ever.
You know that Cleveland is the mistake on the lake, and will never go there.
