This is a thread where I'll post specific help I'm looking for for Yard Sale Gaming. Please note: don't PM me regarding this stuff. Instead, please email me at yardsalegaming(at)gmail(dot)com.

Updated 4/12:

1. Really need submissions for our on-going feature "The Hunt." It's a way to show off any unusual finds you've had while video game collecting. Do you have some kind of weird accessory that nobody's ever heard of? How about a missprint? Maybe you managed to find an extremely minty sealed copy of Shaq Fu buried in your yard when you were putting in a pool? Maybe you've got a Dreamcast-branded juice-maker that only Sega employees were given for their birthdays? Do you have a potato chip that looks like Kasumi? Maybe you met Uwe Boll and had him sign your favorite glow stick? Whatever! Send your name, where your from, a picture or two of your find along with a story to go along with it. send it to yardsalegaming(at)gmail(dot)com with "The Hunt" in the subject line. Thanks!

2. Every week old games are brought to new systems via PSN, XBLA, and Virtual Console. These are all generally just emulations -- not ports or remakes. The idea is I'd like YSG to draw attention to the fact that these games are available again, but I'm not necessarily looking for reviews of these "new" versions since like I said, they're generally just ROM's/ISO's in a wrapper. So I guess what I'm after is sort of Retro Reviews... about the games themselves, if that makes sense. Of course like all the other stuff covered on YSG, I'm far more interested in covering games that are more overlooked. And the game should be new to PSN/XBLA/VC ("new" as in re-released within the past 3 months or so). IF any of you are interested in doing something like this on a somewhat reguar basis, shoot an email to yardsalegaming(at)gmail(dot)com and let me know which online services you have access to, which genres you're more likely to want to cover, and maybe include any writing samples you might have to show.

Feel free to use the image/story of my find that I sent you back when the magazine was still in the works. Its the same email your using, correct? If not let me know and I can send it again and maybe another 1 or 2 things.

I'm almost done with the video of my Naki ProPlayer stick that I asked around at a bunch of places. It appears to not be well known, but I can send you an email of the video link when I'm finished with it (hopefully in the early part of next week).

I don't actually post vids on YSG. Even though it's a blog, I don't want it to be "bloggy." But if you wanna send me pics and a little story that would be awesome.
