an unheard of turok rage wars gray cart variant apparently, i haven't looked into it myself yet to say whether or not this person's claims about it are true but it sounds legitimate. anyone heard of this before now?

It's a legitimate variant. I remember seeing the insert about sending in the broken copy, but I never owned Turok: Rage Wars back then.
