I was digging through some boxes recently and came across this:

I picked it up some time ago, but I've never been able to find any information beyond "it was printed in very limited quantities" (via Wikipedia). I've never seen it for sale, or among the recently completed eBay auctions.

Anyone have any information about it? Exactly how many were released? What's it worth?

That is probably the coolest box art I have ever seen.  I have no idea where it came from, though.

I have heard of these and I know the box is HTF.  I have only ever seen one on eBay maybe 2 to 3 months ago.  I don't recall what it went for though but I think was the box-only, no game.

Does it say the country of origin on the back?  At least that would give you an idea of when it was produced.

A UPC or Nintendo part number would be helpful.

I can immediately tell it's a re-released copy of the game that was printed after the ESRB was formed - the original wasn't rated. Grin
That would likely put the date of release around 1996. Past that, I don't really have any other details for you.
