I think it would be nice to have an extra category. We nog have variations for the same platform and related games for sequals. Think it would be nice to have a option as well for conversion to other platforms. Makes it easy to see if tere is n other version as alterantive to platform you searched for. Don't know what other people think about this.

The same game on a different system can be listed as a Related Game.
But, it would be nice to have separate sections for prequels/sequels and alternate platform versions. We're in the early planning stages of updating the page layouts for the DB, so I think this is something we should definitely consider. The problem of course is getting people that will actually go through and fill them in if we set up the DB for this.

I've been planning on replacing the Related Games field with something a bit more reasonable - tagging.

MobyGames uses a similar system, where they assign attributes to their games. For instance, here's a list of all Wario Land games:

I've also got plans on switching to a landing page with all of the appropriate shared details, and cleaning up the archaic look of our game pages. The staff as a whole hasn't had a chance to sit down and discuss exact what we want to change, or come up with a draft for the changes yet.
