I saw a couple of PS1 games in a Thrift store today, but when I looked at the CDs they were black on the back side.  My stupid question is what the hell are these?  I figure they are some sort of display models but am hoping someone can set me straight on this.

That's just a normal ole PSX game. I have Doom that has a black back to it.

Every single PS game i own is black on the bottom.
I assume the other option would be like a normal CD which is the shiny silvery color.
I don't remember ever even seeing any color but black.

Thanks, I am glad I asked.  The bad news (for me anyway) is that I passed on them.  There were four of the complete for 1.98 each, I will get back there Monday but it's not likely they will still be around.  There is always next time..

if you hold them up to the light it's actually a dark purple/burgundy color.
