i was bored and decided to look around at parts of the site i don't regularly visit and noticed there's a line on the About page that should probably be updated:

"Games and Hardware Databases with over 27000 entries and well over 35000 images"

i think the database has grown a little since that was last updated

I've been searching, but I can not find where/how to edit that.

You'll need to go into cPanel and edit the php file itself. It's under //public_html/PHP/sources/aboutfunctions.php.
It's all HTML-based, so you should be fairly comfortable editing it. If you need help with it, or aren't comfortable editing it, let me know what you want to change and I'll do it.

We should likely pull the stats instead of manually editing this in the future...

i would imagine pulling it from the database wouldn't be too difficult, couldn't the code just be copy pasted from the homepage sidebar that already has that function? or the site statistics page.

It could be simple, but there are concerns to deal with there like cached data vs. actual retrieval from the database. For now, Mike's just going to update the stats so that they're a little more...modern.
