As for progress made in between that excursion and finishing up my secret santa gift pack and hanging out at a new(to me) local shop(which was SOOO much fun) i managed to finish nearly all of the boxed Gameboy/Color/Advanced stuff. I haven't come across a GBA platinum system and i know there are still carts hiding. Pretty sure there should be another cache of complete/sealed stuff too. But enough is there to be picture worthy. Especially since i am moving onto the next system...

Auditing your collection sure can be trying, especially if you have a lot of stuff.

I decided to audit my collection when it hit 1000 pieces, and it took me almost two weeks to complete.

It didn't help that I was in the middle of it when the Great Outage occurred, and my collection had mysteriously lost about 100 items after the site got back up.

Still, when all was said and done, I discovered I actually had less than 1000 pieces, mainly due to taking console components I'd listed separately beforehand, and bundled them with the consoles they belonged to.

I'll do another audit when my collection reaches 1500 pieces.

Genny games all suck. Still want to buy the rest of the Pico collection, SNES has some worthwhile/rare stuff, N64, V.Smile/Leapster in here too

Ran across 2 more Xbox game while i was going through the boxes those were in.
Games that are apparently missing so far has jumped significantly i have boxes/manuals for all of these but no carts. No clue where they could have gone...

No pics this time.
XBLA is done. Sitting at 334 titles. Before the inventory i only had 153.(Still need to add my JP ones. That should be a breeze though.) Sadly this is by far the largest collection. I believe it is the highest number of games i have ever had for any given "system".

Also nearly done with the CIB hardware that is here. Going to pull the last couple things out of the closet then start alphabetizing, coming up with a storage plan and reshelving everything.


Going to see about snagging a scanner tomorrow.... hopefully. I would like to fill in some DB holes before i have to get everything put away again.

Going to take a break and download/mess around with image resizers that have been mentioned and get the scans i took today uploaded to the site.
I only had to do just over 100 so far.

But i cherry picked the systems.

Well all my scans pretty much look like this or worse so i guess i will save a bunch of time on not scanning in the rest of my shit.

Nah only a year old. It is one of those all in ones.
They looked fine in the preview window so i am assuming i inadvertently had some setting selected that i didn't want to have selected.

ahh ok, ya i would go through all the settings and put anything to do with picture quality at max, you can't go wrong with that

Actually, I have a similar issue with one of my scanners. It's just a crap scanner, as far as I can tell.

Do the images look like that before resizing? It could be the resizer program causing it.

Yep. Like i said though in the scan preview they looked fine but when i uploaded i noticed how shitty it looked. Checked the resizes and originals and both looked like ass.

As for progress made.
I have nearly all my games put away. All the hardware and almost all of the oversized/colletors edition games are still stacked in a wall though.

I still have to go through 4 more totes/boxes of hardware, 1 large and one huge tote of mortal kombat stuff, and finally PC games.
