That's what happens when you put a ton of money into a controller that is shit. The uDraw was an epic fail.
Saints Row and Darksiders are the only good things they have.

So, was the Humble Bundle a cash grab or a last chance effort?

Humbled by defeat...
I wonder who's going to buy up the Darksiders franchise. Definitely popular enough to warrant more games.

Damn, the South Park game isn't even out yet. At least its a licensed property and not original, should make it easier in case everything completely sinks.

I have a good friend who is a producer at Volition...really, really hoping he lands on his feet. It's really a great studio.

I feel like they have a decent presence on the PC. Metro 2033 is pretty cool. So is Space Marine, Dawn of War II, and Company of Heroes.
I think they were counting on Red Faction to be relevant again and it just never happened.

They're filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, so they'll continue to produce games. South Park will still come out! (I hope)

Hopefully the WWE games find a good home, and not EA or Activision...

...you guys do realize that the only REAL change here is that they've declared bankruptcy, and another firm is backing them financially? The contracts need to be renewed, and some will likely not be, but it sounds like the majority of titles won't be nixed.

Chapter 11 is just a debt restructuring, but sometimes it ends up being so bad that Chapter 7 follows shortly afterwards.

I think we all saw this one coming. Wonder if they'll bounce back...
Almost feel as if a game company memorial page is in order... how many once great studios are now gone?

Well now, seems like Ubisoft may be getting some of THQ's franchises in the future. I'm actually quite happy to see that happening.
Always sad to see a big name going down though, just like Midway a phew years ago and I fear more will go down when the next generation fully started
