AdVenture Capitalist is a fantastic free game. It's a very simple business related game that relies heavily on a timer mechanic.

You spend money to buy businesses and then the businesses earn you money over a period of time. It's only fun for 10 minutes at a time, but that 10 minutes is pretty fun. The music and UI are charming. It even offer some humor with the names and looks of the managers you can hire, like Admiral Snackbar (instead of Ackbar) and Forest Trump, who looks like a mix between Forest Gump and Donald Trump.

Transformers might be good and I've read good things about From Dust. Resident Evil was never really my bag.

I've never heard of any of these other than VVVVVV. Anything worthwhile?

Not sure about these. Last month was lackluster for me, and these don't look promising. Maybe January will bring us a AAA title or perhaps a more well known digital-only title
