@Fleach & singlebanana: You're welcome. I would also suggest adding in achievements for each of the seven gems needed to reach the final boss.

If you can write something up I'll include those in the main post.

DuckTales on NES and Castle of Illusion on Genesis are 2 of my favorite games. They're on my wishlist. Looks like now is a perfect time to track them down on eBay.

I'm sure that someone here has copies for sale. Check the FS thread.

I played DuckTales Remastered last night and I kind of had mixed feelings. It was fun, but frustrating at times. I guess since it's a short game the major to finish is for the sense of accomplishment and overcoming the difficulty.

Come to think of it, that was probably the driving force behind a lot of people who finish NES games Wink

When Ducktails hits XBLA i will grab both of them and join in the festivities.
Usually i would wait for a reduction but i might as well grab them while everyone else is playing them for a change...

Finished DuckTales Remastered. It was torture at times but it's done. I found it to be pretty tough at certain parts. I'll post a picture of the end screen tonight.

Seems like some of these games can be completed during one sitting. Anyway we can go ahead and start talking about some of these in the open, or do we want to wait for a certain cutoff date?

Yeah the cutscenes were pretty dull and I got tired of them quickly. The torture actually came from the game being pretty challenging. Some boss fights were frustrating.

EDIT
I'm willing to discuss DuckTales if anyone is interested. Of those who played the original (or many NES games) did you think the remastered maintained feel of an 8-bit classic?

I hope this thread isn't dead.

Anyway, I thought I'd say the joyous news that DuckTales Remastered will receive a physical disc release in November. http://www.gameinformer.c...elves-on-november-12.aspx
