I traded my Vita and some other odd items in to the local GameXchange the other day, and I burned that credit up today when I walked out with this Cheesy

Ok, time to start sharing some of my pickups from the last month or so!

Buddy in Texas scored a big craigslist lot and I got in early on some nice titles that were absent from my 170 or so NES collection. Great labels all around - especially Darkwing Duck.

I'm not after N64 variants but I always wanted one off-color set to go with my original gray. This arctic blue came with two controllers and a 1st party expansion pack. Diddy Kong is new from over the summer - the first N64 game I had picked up in quite some time.

Finally - both books by Hardcore Gaming 101, including the recently released Castlevania companion. Grabbed them at Amazon as well as Metal Gear Revengeance - which you can get for $9 brand new at this point.

I picked up one other small lot this week thus far. A fellow had a craigslist ad selling a gamecube. At the bottom, he mentioned having games for $5. I e-mailed him for a list of the games. I ended up grabbing Mario Party 7, Godzilla, and Star Wars Bounty Hunter (I would've sworn I had the last two if I hadn't checked my collection log on here) CIB. All discs were in perfect shape as well.

@Norch: Actually my Wii U came out of a Skylanders bundle box (the guys were nice enough to separate it for me). I know that's going to kill you. I humbly ask for mercy.

@retrosportsgamer: Great NES titles. I've always been a big Kid Icarus fan. It's a shame that it never got the "super" treatment.

@Hungrymoose: Nice!

My mailbox was bursting with games today! I love when that happens!

First I got these two in a trade with some degenerate who goes by the moniker of singlebanana. Clean as hell and kind of made me remember that I'm trying to collect that Atlus PS2 subset. I'll have to revisit that.

And all of this Matt Groening came from Leaptrade. Woo-hoo!

Luigi was always oblivious, his balls didn't drop until Luigi's mansion...and even then it took some work. ha ha

I went on a random trip to Goodwill today and picked up a Wii for $25! It's missing the AV cable and power supply, but it did come with a couple of Wiimotes and Nunchuks as well as the sensor bar. I just got through testing it using the cables from my brother's Wii and it works perfectly!

Impulse purchase from Game Quest today:

Was also another good day for Sega Master System collecting:

Rocky and Dead Angle were from GQ, the other 4 were from a guy I sometimes refer to as, Renter Rick.

Last but not least:

Target was sold out, so settled for the mall Game Stop.

Well, if you and your CollectorCast cohorts could do a small scores section in your podcast at least four times a year, that'd go a long way towards earning my forgiveness...

I went on a random trip to Goodwill today and picked up a Wii for $25! It's missing the AV cable and power supply, but it did come with a couple of Wiimotes and Nunchuks as well as the sensor bar. I just got through testing it using the cables from my brother's Wii and it works perfectly!

I wonder if it was the same Goodwill where I picked up a plain gray N64 controller today for $4.00? Eh, probably not, seeing as how that particular store's asking prices for games and gaming hardware are pretty extortionate. I mean, $15 for a PS2 Jam Pack demo?! I mean, okay, it's still sealed, but... seriously?!

So, is Great Volleyball really all that great? I'm guessing its graphics aren't nearly as eye-catching as the Dead or Alive XTreme Beach Volleyball series.

Them's some big bouncy volleyballs right there, m'yep.

For some stupid reason, whenever I read or hear the words "Hyrule Warriors," I immediately get Dokken's Dream Warriors stuck in my head.

And now you're gonna hear it in your head while playing it.

No need to thank me, it's my pleasure.  evilhappy

HAHA

Engel762 went with me he got some stuff from me game wise but other than that he got some some books..I did too but I haven't posted them yet in the toys thread with my "toys"  -

Also Zag we passed on an 1986 Hewett-Packard Calculator the likes I have never seen before.

My brother was pretty stoked when I finally sent him pictures of the PC Games I picked up - CURSE Him and his love for PC stuff!! But lately that's all that's been floating around here at thrift prices which I am only paying for around here now UNLESS it's something I really need or want, and right now PC games are not what I want BUT They are what my brother wants and I am buying any PC Games for him since he can't afford much of anything anymore  - So if you guys have any Big Box PC Stuff let me as I would really like to get him a bunch for Christmas - I think I asked a couple of you (Boshamp I think) about some PC stuff - and Techie Let me know if you do ever decide to let those go ;-)

Also great finds Mike! Love the SMS stuff!! Wish I could find more in their boxes I would really like to start getting some more US releases and a lot more PAL Releases all CIB at some point.  I've kind of taken a break from NES UNLESS I get some good deals...and Saturn well I am trying to save for the big titles, along with NES.

Thank you, Zagnorch, for bringing Dokken to the boards.  Though I wondered if it ever would happen, without my personal intervention, you fulfilled that dream WARRIORS!

@Norch: Nothing is as GREAT as those DOA ladies.

@GamerNick: Thanks! SMS has been pretty fun to collect for me, especially lately, with my 10 to 300 NES goal. I have almost debated on going for a complete NA and PAL library.
