Picked up a bunch of stuff this weekend, including one of my personal grails. Here's a preview:

That looks like my roommate's cat!
Taking a guess - Deluxe Set?

Psycho, I would offer one, but I don't think they allow cats to be shipped Flat Rate.

That's an awesome Cat find. The Cat Ladies are envious. R.O.B. also approves.

I haven't had a chance to go looking for games in a while, so this weekend was a real treat. Have some pics:

Random junk! X8's supposed to be kind of fun, right?

Newer stuff! That's not that interesting, either.

I'm kind of amazed I didn't have any of these. Better late than never, I guess.

Crossed a bunch of stuff of my N64 list. I think I'll try to slowly complete this collection. Getting close to halfway there, I think.

Now we're talking - these are all pretty cool. NHL Open Ice is a lot more expensive than I would have guessed. Is it rare? It doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would be.

Oh, and one other thing:

Shadow wins some internet points or something. It's complete, as far as I can tell - it even has the brochure and poster. Looks really nice. Best of all, I finally have a R.O.B. to call my own. And he works!

Went to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo this weekend, was a lot of fun, lots of vendors, and sat in on a Panel about the book Console Wars. Some of the guys from Sega of America were there to tell the story of how they came to be fierce competition with Nintendo during the 16-bit era.

The highlight of the day was able to hang out for a little bit with our very own Retrorage and Nupoile. Had a good time with those guys. I met Nupoile in January but never met Retrorage so it was pretty cool to meet someone who lives so close to me.

Meanwhile these are the pickups I got, I spent about 100 bucks on all this stuff.

Maganvox Odyssey 100 - $10
Colecovision w/ no cords - $10
Frogger Board Game - $25
Dreamcast Rod - 6.00
Die Hard 2: Die Harder Laserdisc was free with a trade. Thanks Nupoile!
All the Sega Sports Games - .75 each
Atari 5200 Vanguard CIB - 6.00
Atari 5200 Star Raiders CIB - 2.00
Atari 5200 Joust CIB - 8.00
Immortal CIB - 10.00
FF8 CIB - 12.00

Oh BTW, if anyone has a Colecovision Power Supply for sale, or knows of someone I can get one from, please let me know.

@Fokakis79: Nice haul, and it sounds like you guys had a great time.

Bummer I didn't get to meet you guys at the show. I would have loved to check out that panel. I think I got there after the guys frin the panel were signing autographs.

Looks like you got some good stuff, love those Dreamcast fishing games with the fishing controller. I convinced a kid at one booth to buy it, hopefully he was able to track down a controller. He sounded pretty interested in collecting dreamcast.

I'll post up my finds soon. Kind of exhausted after a long drive.

Hmmm. The labels on the bottom of the console are all worn off, and the console is in far worse shape than the ROB or the box. I'd hazard a guess that this isn't the NES that originally came in this box, though I'm not sure if there's a way to prove that (or if it really matters).
