Awesome longbox Resident Evil!  I've been trying to track one of those down for a while.

Glad they made it!  Wow, shipping to Canada is speedy quick around the holidays.

Seeing as we're so close to Santa's Workshop our postal service hires down on their luck elves to expedite shipping.

I'll keep that in mind. Wink

Surprised we had BCV already in the database. It's one of those odd Japanese budget releases that Midas published in Europe.

I was surprised to see it in there too. I was expecting to have to add it myself.

I'm not sure how to add the Spanish demo disc...
The case says:
Quote
PlayStation 2 Revista Oficial - España
N° 71 • Diciembre 2006 • Disco 69
While the disc says:
Quote
ops2m demo 80 spa/por
The part number on the disc matches up to the case. (SCED-54567)

It's a variant of the Official PlayStation 2 Magazine 80 disc for Spain and Portugal, specifically for PlayStation 2 Revista Oficial.

Spanish details are correct.

This came in from 99Gamers today. One of the coolest things I've added to my collection in a while.

The fan translation of ToP I played back in the day was hilarious.

It also certainly wasn't E10+ (or PG where I come from).

Hey now, everybody! Time to open up the magic gift box again...

All right, first up...

Ooh, a complete boxed Gakken Pyonkichi LCD game! Now, what's next--

My first two game pickups for the Atari 5200. However, considering the 5200's poor rep, is that a good thing? Let's just table that discussion, and keep digging in:

All righty, what else...

Finally got a copy of Super R-Type. And I hear Athena is a game people either love or hate, with almost no middle ground to speak of. Guess I'll find out which camp I fall into soon enough.

But wait, there's more... so much more:

We're goin' way back with these 2600 carts. But now it's off to the more recent past:

I love how the tags classify these as "office equipment." To whom do I send my resume to work in that office? ANYway, let's keep going:

Hey Shadz, how many KotORs have I accumulated nowTongue

A little something to keep my tape drives running smoothly. And speaking of old drives:

Hey WildBil52, here's another suggestion for your Dust Off Your DOSBox blog! Now I just need to find a USB 5.25" floppy drive. Until I do, however, here's something else Bil is sure to dig:

I got a few other magazines as well:

Now for a little gaming goodness of the non-vidya kind:

Aaaannnd some number-crunching happy fun time:

Whelp, that's it for the magical gift box today. Now it's on to a gift box from a member of RF Gen's Pacific Northwest contingent:

All right, let's do this.

Why do I get the feeling I'm being set up for a major trolling? Meh, whatever; let's just get this over with...

Aaaand the big reveal:

Wow... that's just plain wrong. Even more concrete evidence that all fans of Seattle pro sports teams need to be forcibly sterilized for the betterment of mankind. And let's throw the Pokemon aficionados in there, just to be on the safe side. This is the downside of entrusting your mailing address to others. But hey, at least the guy isn't defacing Wavebird controllers, right?

'Course, when you really get down to it, I've only myself to blame:

Until next time...

@Zagnorch: Awesome Magical Box you got, I have recently been collecting Atari 5200, its pretty fun to collect for so far it definitely has some expensive and hard find games, the games are really fun, its just the damn controllers are the problem.
