Omg, I want an NES. Why can't I ever find great yard sales like that?

You could ask one of us nice gents to send you one, considering that you seem to be ready to eat your shirt out of frustration.

Damn!  Did I actually pre-empt the Zag man on a Skylanders release?  Get involved in the database discussion, Man.  I've decided to limit my score posts to notables and avoid random sports games or items that few are interested in seeing.

First up, A StarCraft: Wings of Liberty CE set that is strictly trade bait, but you'll get a great deal considering what I paid.  The art book is still sealed, the comic is bagged and boarded, and game key included.  The set of Atari paddles in box were $5.  Two of the Easter 2015 Skylanders releases, although the girlfriend picked up the third - the Weerupter - today for me.

And a few Amiibos for a good price.  Since the "common" figures aren't selling too well, Fred Meyer has dropped the price for many to $10 each.  I plan to finalize a blog post on this topic soon.  And Wii Baseball flipper game was $0.25 at thrift.

From Disposed Hero in a trade, the Nintendo 3DS Majora's Mask LE and Lunar Silver Star Harmony (Sealed).  My Gold Mario Amiibo was acquired the way we should all appreciate and I would hope is more prominent.  A collector buddy called me from WalMart to tell me that there was a Gold Mario in-store and I was there shortly.  No eBay or Craigslist, and I paid $13.  A friend hooked me up like it should always be.

Thrift and Craigslist:

Recent homebrew and reproduction games:

And finally, as recommended by the Game Historian (), the definitive Sega Mega Drive & Genesis historical reference.  I LOVE THIS BOOK!

Nice grabs troy.  Get them for a good price?
Some of them yes.  There were about 5 days of coupons at Half Price Books 30-50% off depending on the day.  Most days I was able to stop at a couple different locations on my drive home and use a couple of the coupons.  I got the Strider for free (long story), Rocket Knight about $18, Galaga $15, Sonic Blastman II $30 (bro's wife in Japan), GBA SP $15, Sonic Advance $4, Gradius $5.  Some of the others were about regular price, but I was able to use up some points I had saved up on Amazon.

Hey now,

My Trap Team set gets ever closer to completion with these pickups:

I even dropped a few bucks on some related reading material:

Also picked up:

- CIB PaRappa the Rapper, $3.59

- Sealed Descent II, $2.49

- CIB Lemmings 3D longbox, $4.99

Rounding things out: a modest little lot that set me back $40...

Finally found something at Goodwill for once - you missed out Nick!

$15, brand new. Hooked it up to the PC and listening to UMF live right now. The bass boost on this is fantastic.

Wasn't planning on picking up another GBA SP this month, but came across a deal on OfferUp.  I've been wanting to pick up the 101 model for a while now.  I got this lot for $50.  Everything was CIB except for Aladdin.  The rest of the games are going to go to my daughter.  Go Go Ackman I got off Ebay.  It was suppose to be CIB, but came cartridge only.  When I asked the seller about the box, I was informed that he made a mistake and was refunded my money.  He told me to keep the game too.  Now I just need to get Ackman 3.

i can't stand turtle beach, never buying a headset from them again. both me and my girlfriend have tried the same model, and both times we had the same issues. the mic always plays back your voice through the headphones and there's nothing you can do to stop it. it might not be so bad if it was instant, but there's a split second delay between what you say and what you hear of yourself, so it's really off putting for any sort of voice chat (or even just listening to your own breathing while playing music/games).

@Zagnorch: I bow down to the master of thrift shopping. Frickin' nuts on that Gameboy lot.
