Hey now,

Picked up a little something-something earlier today:

I'm not big on buying from Wally World, but the deal I got on it was too good to pass up.

What is "it," you ask? Allow me to show you:

Hellz yeah.

Now it's time to do something that most of you consider heresy, but I consider my sacred duty:

EngineerMike is currently issuing a fatwah against me...

...Flee is readying me for a rigorous exorcism/waterboarding session...

...and MumboKing is completely indifferent to the entire affair.

Howzabout a closer look at these bad boys:

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for! BUT, before I do that, I better free up the special parts:

And now... THE MAIN EVENT:

You're lookin' at 18 solid inches (45 solid centimeters) of pure devastation! But don't take my word for it; just ask your mom. OH!!!

I had the original set as a kid. I guess my parents got rid of it. Fun game!

Happy UnitedStatesian Thanksgiving, everybody!

I thought I'd celebrate with an amazing thrift find I encountered a little while back. If you thought the Taiwanese Jesus Board Game (TM) was out there, wait'll you take a gander at K-pop sensation Psy on a happy small horse:

Heeeey, sexy filly!

You know you want one of these, don't lie...

The text is the best part. "What make baby fall in love with it."

There are no words...

Oh yeah? Well, what about...

- Dancing in (Jiangnan Style) with me, children!

...or...

- Electric universal driving

But my favorite bit of text is the most ironic:

- Counterfeits must investigate

Hmmm... guilty conscience?

ANYway, I gotta hit the hay so I can be up bright and early for "Blue Friday." With any luck, I'll find even more weird stuff to display for your amusement...

I have grabbed a few things lately. First off, my D&D 5e books:

All from Game Quest, as was this:

My newest Star Wars Black figures:

Luke Vs. Palpatine

Got some TMNT stuff lately (Merlin was from GQ):

And last but not least is my MOTUC Point Dread (temporarily sealed):

.50 thrift find. 1989 Ninja Turtle Puzzle. Didn't even bother to count it in the store but it was complete!

Just got a little something from overseas that I ordered last month.

Let's pop this bad boy open...

Aaaand...

And we all know what happens next, right? Nothing less than the right of all sentient beings: FREEDOM!

Moar like CHOPtimus Prime, amirite?

The foldable rifle is pretty cool...

...as is the storage "back pack."

Just don't take Optie up on his offer to full his finger:

Don't worry, it's not broken; it just popped off, and popped back in place without incident. Fortunately, this won't be a problem for long; you'll see what I mean soon enough.

Until then...

Hey now,

Nice Mp-10. I have the Hasbro version. Been wanting the Takara release to open.

As nice as he is, I'm looking to upgrade him with some third-party aftermarket parts. I just ordered a new set of hands, now I'm looking at an upgrade of the arms as well:

http://tfsource.com/shadow-fisher/sf-m01b/

There's even a light-up set for Optie's optics and matrix, but I think I'll wait on that one:

ANYway, I got an early Xmas present in the form of even more Transformer toys:

Diggin' the Combiner Wars Megatron so far:

Personally, I think he matches up quite well with MP-10 Optie:

CW Megs also has a few third-party upgrade kits:

Just when I thought my TransFormers fever had broken, I went into full-blown relapse when I discovered these at the local Savers for about nine bucks all told:

- Energon Lugnutz and Overhaul

- TF Animated Jazz

- Kre-O Micro Changers Combiner Menasor

I found a few non-TF goodies as well:

- Carrera GT Contest slot car racing set, $10.24

- Games Workshop Lord of the Rings miniatures set, $2.99 $2.09

I will have a Transformers post in the near future, but for now, check out this Giant Skeletor I got:

Seriously. This thing is huge. Here is a scale comparison:

Awesome!  MOTU rules!

I feel the same. It is a hard fought spot for No.2, in my all-time favourite toy top 5, but MOTU slightly edges out Transformers.
