Awesome!  MOTU rules!

I feel the same. It is a hard fought spot for No.2, in my all-time favourite toy top 5, but MOTU slightly edges out Transformers.

What the hell is wrong with you?

Anyways....

Like I mentioned on the last page, I do have a Transformers score I was waiting on in the mail. It arrived today. Pretty happy overall with it.

TRYPTICON!!!!! It is a nice reissue of the vhtf G1 toy.

Hmm hard to see the toy very well....

Oh but wait, whats happening here!?!

Thats right Zag, I opened the bastard

Two reasons why I freed this guy, from his cardboard and plastic prison. 1) I like to have my Vintage toys (or repro/reissue versions of) loose and 2) It is only right that Trypticon here, should be free to fight his Autobot Arch-nemesis

Trypticon Vs. Metroplex ROUND 1!

Mike, those Transformers toys bring back so many memories. I used to have both Trypticon and Metroplex as a kid. Really fun toys, and I'm sure they still are!

Was never big on Trypticon, myself. But I definitely would've dug having Metroplex back in the day.

Speaking of which: I know they did a pretty cool redux of Metroplex a few years back. Dude transforms into a 2-foot-tall robot for goodness sakes. I'm surprised they didn't do the same for Trypticon instead of rereleasing the original G1 toy.

In any case, I'm still waiting for a few third-party upgrades to ship out. I can't wait to show 'em off to y'all...

I was never big on Trypticon or Fortress Maximus as a kid for two reasons. 1) They were never in the cartoon. Trypticon showed up for like, two episodes? and 2) Nobody had them, So I never knew of their existence, until much later.

Metroplex, however, I have memories of the seething jealousy I had, over the neighbor kid getting one.

Just got in the first third-party upgrade for my Combiner Wars Constructicons:

The replacement forearms for Hook, Long Haul, Scrapper, and Mixmaster were marginally better than the originals...

...but I bought this more for the individual weapons, which weren't included in the Hasbro release.

Finally, Long Haul was given his very own special "upgrade," courtesy of this Constructicon compatriots:

More 'bots and third-party upgrades to come...

I switched away from 'bots for a bit, to focus on my true love once again. I warn you all, for the image you are about to see, is truly shocking and horrifying if not prepared. You have been warned.

For those that don't know me personally, I am semi-bonkers. my face in the pic proves it!

Anyways, this is the new Gentle Giant 12"Snake-Eyes. Its faithful to the '82 straight-arm, in every way...except size of course!

Here's a scale shot, with an original Snake-Eyes

I picked this up for £2 in a charity shop because I saw it goes for more on eBay... I probably won't sell it though.
I removed the top of the box for the photo.

So I did something, that I have never done, as a toy collector. Mattycollector, which is the website for all of Mattel's exclusive fancy stuff, offers a subscription service for certain toylines. The Master of the Universe Classics, have offered a subscription based service, since the beginning of the MOTUC toyline (2009) I finally decided to subscribe. This years subscription, offers He-man toys, that are designed/styled to look like the characters did, in the 82-83 Filmation cartoon. Without further ado, the first figure in the Grayskull Classics sub:

the package comes with a removable slip cover. once removed:
