Hey now!
A little bit of Yuletide cheer from a certain RF Gentleman hit my doorstep this morning:
All right, let's dig in:
Oooh, a note!
THEY'RE NOT "JUST TOYS," DAMMIT! WHY CAN'T I MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND?!?!
*AHEM* Let's see what's in here:
Uh-oh, the robot parts broke free from their blister pack and got all mixed up! And with no assembly instructions to go off on. But that's okay, I figured it out:
Aaaaaand finally:
Heh... Erector Junior.
ANYway, big thankies to The Man! I raise my TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition to you, good sir!

Went on my annual New Year's Goodwill tour, and found a few more 1:35 WWII plastic model kits to go with the big lot I picked up a few years back: (

I love that Voltron set. I bought myself that set and a bottle of Dom Perignon, for my birthday.

I dunno... if she were
truly
awesome, she woulda gotten ya the
real
Voltron:
Time to turn our attention to a truly awesome combiner-bot, one I acquired some time back:
I was never too keen on Predaking back in the day, but after giving this big boy a good look, he won me over. While Devastator is still my all-time fave combiner, Predaking is now a close second.
Standing at about 18 inches, has some real presence. Still, there are a few things about the guy that could use a little... enhancement. You know, an upgrade. Only thing is, I can't think of any--
Ah, there we go. Hey look, it's Shockwave, the Decepticons' resident mad scientist and ultimate logician, here to lend a hand! Well, he only has one hand of his own to lend, but that's neither here nor there. Seeing as how he's the inventor of the whole combiner deal in several TransFormers continuities, Shockwave's expertise should prove indispensable to the task at hand.
Aaaaand speaking of hands:
Time to do the wing thing:
Dude, don't bogart the energon dipping sauce!
All righty, let's shore up that midsection! And no, the piece on the right is NOT what you think it is; get your mind out of the gutter for Primus' sakes!
See? Told ya!
Aaaand finally, an armament upgrade:
Oops, I forgot about this little feature! just lift up a door on the back of the hands...
...to reveal some deadly knuckle dusters!
TA-DAAAA:
Now THAT'S more like it!
Whelp, that's it for now. I'll likely be showing off a few of my more recent TransFormers acquisitions in the coming weeks... but don't hold me to that.
Until then...
...'Scuse.

Finally got these 2 cleaned up with repro stickers applied. Only GI Joe toys I really still own after my parents talked me into selling all mine when I was younger.

Hey now,
I'm not showing off any new toy scores here right now, just posting a YouTube video that
exploits
covers the subject of, shall we say, extreme adult toy collecting! And no, I don't mean the collecting of adult "toys," I mean-- well, just watch the video and you'll see what I mean.

Hey now,
Recently, I took advantage of some savings coupons and Amazon gift card credit, and grabbed myself the latest Soundwave and a couple cassette minions.
Presenting: Soundwave, Laserbeak, Ravage... and Knuckles.
For the last freaking time: YES, I DO KNOW THE WAY TO CYBERTRON! For the love of Primus, stop asking me that!
Whoa, check this out: his index finger is slightly extended from his left fist.
I'm sure there's a very good reason for this little embellishment... but it escapes me at the moment.
But if you think that's cool, check out his alt-mode of...
...ummmm... some sort of battlewagon spaceship thingy? I guess?
ANYway, Soundwave is the latest addition to my collection of the Siege series of TransFormers figures:
Another recent acquisition is Studio Series Optimus Prime from the
Bumblebee
movie...
...and a little third-party offering:
Whelp, that's all for now. Time for me to transform and roll out...

Picked up a Tarjay-salvage Bumblebee Soundwave in a heavily damaged package for $14.99:
Man, I really need to clean out that keyboard...
BTW if he looks familiar, it's 'cuz he's a slight redeco of Titans Return Soundwave...
...who is himself a redeco of Titans Return Blaster.
And now, a question for y'all: which boombox-bot does Fort Max rock better, Soundwave...
...or Blaster?
Meanwhile, I think I might have found the most awesomeest action figures EVAR:

Damn that's a great price for that Soundwave! I kept looking at him every time I was at Target but just couldn't pull the trigger for the price.

I was really worried that it might be incomplete or broken; that's usually the case with TarJay-salvage toys I find at Goodwill. I really lucked out in this instance...
ANYway, I'm celebrating Father's Day the best way I know how:
