Yes, it's July, but I'm starting early this year!

Sign-up emails have been sent to everyone who participated last year.

Did everyone like having 12 teams? Do we need more/less?

l liked having 12 as the max.  I think we need to put in a FLEX position though.  I never had more than two decent starting receivers last year and it burned me.

I'd also like to do a live draft, so I don't get stuck with players who are on IR for half the season.

I thought 12 was great.

A live draft would be great if everyone is going to be seriously participating.  There's nothing worse than scheduling a live draft with 12 teams only to have only like half the people show up.

Just about everyone in the league last year kept up with their teams during the entire season, hopefully everyone will be just as involved this year.

I joined in. Smiley

I'm having a look through the league settings and there's still no FLEX position. Can this still be changed before the start of the season?

EDIT: BTW, there's 14 team spots right now, should that be lowered then?

If there is a consensus for a flex position, I can make that change.

There are 14 team spots, but I have only sent invitations to the people who played last year as of right now.

Well, it's been asked for these past couple of years at least, so I think there is demand for it. Most people end up with too many RB's or too many WR's, so having the single flex position should fix most of that.

Hey here's a thing I hate about Yahoo leagues: Waivers default to a "continuous rolling list", where those who make fewer claims get higher priority. Could we change it to either of the other options, where teams with crappier records get higher priority?

^I tried to figure out why I tended to end up way down the list on the waiver last season, and now I know.  I like theGrue's suggestion to give crappier teams higher priority.

^Can we schedule it sometime during the week of 08/24?  I have off that week, and I'd like to be able to draft my own players this year.  Also, can we get a consensus on the FLEX position?  Judging from the posts so far, it looks like the following people want the FLEX:

Still waiting on 3 from last year. May give them until mid week before I open it up to other players. Anyone want to get on a list?

I can make the flex change as it only appears that there is positive leaning on it.

EDIT: I have removed a bench position to add a wide receiver/running back flex position. Feel that's fair. Thoughts?
