Okay. There's a game for the PS1 I played when I was little and never saw it again. It was a first person perspective game. I'm not sure if it was a shooter because I didn't get far enough to get a weapon or anything. Now that I'm older and are much better at gaming in general, I'm curious to find it again. Problem is I don't know the name of it. That's where you guys come in.

It starts off with your character on a starship on a crash course for the sun. Radiation is leaking in. You have to walk around and talk to people....that's prettymuch all I know. They hadn't gotten into face mapping at the time so all faces were basically a single texture plastered where their face would go.

Thanks for any help I can get. I know this isn't a lot of information to go on.

Oh my god. Thank you guys so much. This is indeed the game I was talking about. I didn't think I'd ever see it again. I'd been asking people all over. I just hadn't been to any gaming forums about it. I don't have a PS1 anymore so I'm going to have to emulate it. Oh well.

I'm discovering an rediscovering childhood games all over the place. I wanted to play Nights Into Dreams for Sega Saturn since I was little and I finally got to play it just recently. Those commercials tantalized my little 8 year old mind. Just never had a Sega Saturn before. Kept seeing cameos in Sonic Adventure and it taunted me for a long time. But now I've played it and it didn't disappoint. I'm happy.

Really glad we could help. Nostalgia is huge in this hobby, and it is a lot of fun to go back and find those games.

The description of the faces made me think of Granstream Saga, and I really didn't want to think about that game.

Another game from my childhood, from around that same time, that I missed was Starwinder. I remember it being so awesome but now that I've played it again, I'm beginning to wonder what was wrong with me. That one was difficult to find because I forgot the name of that one too. But I remembered the tag line. "The Ultimate Space Race".
