Normally I would allow people to play alternate versions of titles, but since this is a competition month, I think people should play the same game. I can't take the time to go through and account for every enemy or point per kill in each game, so I feel it best that we stick with the exact title picked. With that said, if any of these titles are downloadable, I'm okay with that since it's still the same game only directly ported.

Thanks for understanding and I hope this isn't an issue for your participation. With all of the Genesis titles to choose from the voting is very spread out at this point. I'm really curious to see how this goes.

I only own about 25% of the shmup titles we've voted on so I came into this with the expectations of playing some titles I've never played before  Smiley.  I had never really heard of 2 of the Genesis titles so I didn't vote for them, but now looking at some pics I wish I had voted differently.

How?

Sorry, option was not checked, but I have fixed that now. Just click "remove vote" in poll and re-vote.

Yeah Mike. Results should be up. Looks like Lightning Force is the winner with 4 total votes. Truxton and Gaiares were next with 2.

Cool! ordering today. I was really hoping we would have at least one vertical-scrolling shooter, but it's looking like a Horizontal-only month! lol

Yeah, so was I. Oh well, looks like there are two candidates on the PSX list.
