Zag, you sure have a knack for finding GBA stuff, huh?

I'm not a "selfie" sort of guy (and I rather dislike that term), but I thought you all might appreciate the shirt I ordered a couple weeks ago that arrived earlier this week:

I happened upon a garage sale with a lone gaming related item I had to snag. It matches the one I bought as a new item years ago:

Pawn shop find:

Goodwill finds:

Game store manual pickups:

And thanks to a Best Buy gift card, I snagged this beauty for next to nothing!

You're welcome.  Tongue

BTW you lookin' for an official Nintendo GBA or GBA SP carrying case at all? I got those bad boys pilin' up somethin' scary.

In other news: get ready for me to show off what just might be the awesomest scores of the year!

Until then...

I'm loving the shirt MetalFRO.

Thanks! It was a limited print in TeeChip, and when I saw the design I didn't hesitate to order one. Too awesome not to!

Hey now,

You're welcome.  Tongue

The "care package" I have for you is already at capacity; You'll hafta wait 'till the next go-round. Fear not, however; I have quite a pile on hand, so it's not like they're going anywhere... except perhaps this year's Not-So-Secret Santa. Which, in case anybody cares, is scheduled to start on November 16th* to coincide with my fifth anniversary on RF Gen.

*Home burglaries notwithstanding.

Now that I've dispensed with the self-promotion, you'll be outright SHOCKED & AWED when you see what I picked up on Sunday:

If you've wondered where I've been the last couple days, you have your answer.

BTW the posters are TRU launch-day promos, and the comic was a bonus that came with my G*meSt*p pre-order.

All righty, back to you.

@Zagnorch: The reviews have been pretty positive so far. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think.

You can read my initial thoughts in the Gaming Diary thread:

http://www.rfgeneration.c...14820.msg229198#msg229198

One big thing I did notice was that none of the Toys R Us's I went to on launch day had the Superchargers starters or figures on the big promo display just past the entrance like they've had in previous launches. There were, however, big banners on the front of each store promoting Lego Dimensions, which is coming out in the next five days. This is likely why this year's Skylanders launch came two weeks earlier than in previous years-- they needed to get a bit of a jump on the increasing competition in the toys-to-life vidya racket.

So, um... how're things with you?

@Zag:

Thanks for the link. I'm taking a wait and see approach with Dimensions, and I already have Skylanders and Infinity... not sure I need a third toys-to-life thing.

I've been grabbing some more games from Goodwill and importing some more from Japan.

I've been working on trying to finish subsets.

I was happy to find Road Rash for .99

Darkwing Duck is from June but I forgot to add it in the last round of updates.

Sonic is from Bickman2k. Thanks!

Looking good SirPsycho!
Today Data Discs revealed that Shinobi 3 and Super Hang-On will come out soon on vinyl and that in 2016 we can expect Streets of Rage 2 and Out Run Smiley

Btw if you guys haven’t tried the new horror game from Frictional Games yet called SOMA, (they did Penumbra and the Amnesia games) do it because it’s their greatest game to date! Cool
