Not sure yet.  Thinking of leaving in Super Mario World.  It's wired to the unit and is set to reset every 5 minutes.  Not sure hope that can be changed/removed/modified.

@shaggy: that's an awesome start to a Vita collection, if you haven't played Child of Light i'd highly recommend it when you get the system.
