Hey now...

[...]

SO JEALOUS OF CRIMSON GEM SAGA! That has been on my PSP want list forever! Every time I find one around here its usually just disc only with fake artwork.

Well, if I find another CIB copy of it... it's gonna be going to someone else. However, for the next-next one I find, you're at the front of the line.

ANYway, today's big thrift find is a (mostly) mystery stack of N64 carts...

...that set me back a few pennies under $4.00.

All right, let's see what we have here...

What a disappointment; just a stack of third-rate shovelware. Nothing to see here, move along.

I also grabbed these later in the day:

Aaaand a few things I've picked up over the past couple weeks:

- Glacier GBA and Platinum GBA SP, $4.99 each

- Pink DSi, $17.99

- CIB Mystic Heroes for PS2, $3.95

- CIB Ninja Gaiden II for 360, $3.95

- Rogue Galaxy (no manual) for PS2, $2.99

- Game Genie with code book for Sega Game Gear, $7.99

- Japan-release Griffin cart for Sega Game Gear, $21

- CIB Warhammer 40K Squad Command for PSP, $2.99

And now, a little something to get ol' Nupey-Dupes all hot & bothered: all of my TI graphing calculator thrift scores from yesterday and today!

Now you know what the top of my head looks like. Hope you don't notice the flecks of gray...

...'Late

awesome thanks zag

All found in charity shops:

Found on the 9th. No, this wasn't £6.99, it was £2

Found on the 11th. These were only £1 each! I have proof (kind of).

Found today: Promo PS1 games. 1/6th of £1 each.

Picked up Xenoblade and Blue Dragon Plus (you know, because it was $5).  I originally wasn't going to get Xenoblade, but I realized this morning that the Gamestop price is about $5 cheaper (with shipping) CIB than on eBay, which is about a $10 jump from last week.  Since it isn't sold in most stores I thought it was a perfect time to pick it up.  Next is A Link Between Worlds.

I'm unable to post pics at this time, however, some guy need of some quick cash. He sold me Pokemon Crystal and Yellow for only twenty bucks. Yes twenty bucks for those two games together. Found this deal while using the 5 Miles app. Considering Crystal goes for around 30$ and Yellow for 20$ I think this was a pretty nice deal. Smiley

Hey now...

I picked up this gem for $9:

What a coinkydink-- looky what i found earlier today:

I didn't buy it, however. No worries, though; I'm confident I'll have other opportunities in the near future.

Hey, since you're here, Norv, take a gander at this nifty bit of retro-fantabulousity:

\

Moving on: y'all will be happy to hear that I picked up my first Nintendo Switch games today.

Now I just need a console on which to play 'em.

A few more things I encountered and/or grabbed during my day-long thrift crawl:

Nintendo 64 Bowser bean bag plush with original tag attached, $3.99: one of Nintendo's efforts to take advantage of the Beanie Baby craze of the mid-to-late '90s. I was right on the front lines for that horrific fad, as well as the concurrently-running Pokemon card game craze. These two cataclysms converged to extinguish any and all faith in humanity I had remaining. And the flashbacks-- dear God, the flashbacks...

ANYway, on with the spoils of my little cross-county trip:

Some edjamacational Japanese PlayStation game thingy. I think it's supposed to teach the young'uns about the English alphabet or something. I'm sure Shadow Kisuragi will fill us all in with all the fine details about this game after he sees this.

This "GameStop exclusive" is basically a rerelease of the Prima guide for the N64 version with a revised cover.

This set me back $2.99.

[/url]

I grabbed this for a fellow RF Gentleman, as well as three of these:

I also got him a nostalgic meatspace game:

I picked up my own nostalgic meatspace game featuring everybody's favorite blurry-lipped mini-motor maven:

Aaaand finally, I picked this up because you already know why:
