Found a Goodwill down the street from the hospital. Found this beauty for $4.

Nice find! My local Goodwill that opened recently is yet to produce anything of value yet.

A studded case version of "LEGO Rock Raiders" (PC) and "Destruction Derby" (Saturn)

I guess this counts for this thread too...

A 1993 Sonic the Hedgehog duvet cover (Image not mine, but is of the same design. I don't have the pillow case.)

SNES/Super Famicom: A Visual Compendium

I supported the Kickstarter and I must say there is a lot of nice content here, over 500 pages even!

Clear plastic cover for my A1200

I wanted a cover that was transparent so this seems like a good choice.

A co-worker of mine knew I was into video games and gave me a few things he didn't want any more:

I cleaned up the consoles but haven't tested them yet.  I see the two PS1's have different models.

The Namco Vol. 1 didn't have the disc, Gran Turismo was missing the manual along with Q*bert, Tekken 3, and Frogger, and in the Ace Combat 4 case was Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec.  I find it funny, though, that you need GTA for GTA London and it's not with the games.  He must have some games that he has forgotten about...  Awesome, regardless.

Hey now,

A co-worker of mine knew I was into video games and gave me a few things he didn't want any more

[...]

I have a co-worker who found out about my vidya collection, and is offering me his son's old collection of mostly PC games... but that's another possible small score for another time.

Recently, I discovered a grab-bag of various GB/GBC/GBA carts:

Along with a DS Lite wall charger, this bad boy yielded 23 different carts:

The two carts on the bottom are Japanese releases of Initial D: Another Stage and Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament.

Sadly,these all need new batteries.

Some other recent pick-ups of note:

Rounding things out is this odd peripheral for the Commodore 64:

@SirPsycho - Traysia, that's one I haven't seen in the wild in forever.  Also, nice pickup on that joystick!

@Zagnorch - always enjoy seeing your scores.  You sometimes find the weirdest/coolest stuff.  Also, yay for Mario Odyssey!

@Shaggy - where do you work, and how can I get a job there? Tongue  Seriously, very cool to see that.  Maybe once I'm at my new workplace a while, and word gets around that I'm a gamer, people will start asking me if I want their old gaming crap Grin

Ha ha, this is the first time someone has given me stuff.  Every other time they want to sell me the games and want Ebay prices.  I try to get the word out, though, because you never know!
