Is it soon yet? You bet'cher sweet ass it is! Check out this load of 14 DS & PSP games -- 7 of which  are Japanese-- that I picked up during the local Goodwill chain's New Year's Day sale, along with Gundam: Crossfire for the PS3:

Just $60 for the whole lot!

I even found a few loose Skylanders figures I didn't previously have in my collection:

Aaaand finally, I grabbed a Build-a-Bear Workshop Bowser plush, and had him riding shotgun during my thrift run:

Yay, I can use the carpool lane all I want now!

Aaaand that's it for now. Let's make 2020 a high-scoring affair, guys!

Sadly no photos for this one, but took advantage of GameStop's post-Christmas buy 2-get 2 preowned sale to add Okami HD, Kingdom Hearts III, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, and Lego DC Supervillains to my collection. All for PS4. Also just had my Japanese copy of Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night arrive, for the PS4 as well. Interestingly it wasn't already in the database, especially for a current gen game.

It's been a while so here's what I'm up to. I picked up four new PCs. They are old but much better than what I had. I set them up as follows:

1. Modern games PC
2. Test PC for learning
3. Old PC for Windows XP/98
4. Main Workhorse PC

I picked up some hardware. The Super Famicom was dirt cheap and came with two controllers. The PS1 is a Japanese 5501 so it can accept the HDMI mod and will work well with the PSIO I picked up last year. I've always wanted a Lynx 2 and it was a good price so now I just need to buy some games. The tablet is an Amazon Fire. It's small enough I can carry it around for twitch and YouTube watching and with the built in Alexa I can use it to control the game room.

ESPGaluda was a wedding anniversary Gift and the 3DS guide was a souvenir from my visit. I grabbed Toki when Gamestop had them for $10.

I was able to grab some Famicom games that had been on my list for a while and finally found a cheap copy of Popeye.

Some PS4 games. The $20 price is incorrect. Target was having a 50% sale on certain titles so it was $10.

Xbox One stuff:

Some Random games from a library book sale. They came out to $1 each:

Some more random games. They came out to around $2 each:

Some Switch games:

A 24" Monitor and a 19" for the Shmup Station. I have 6 out of 8 required monitors now. I just need to buy two gaming monitors for tate mode.

I found a 3rd party Wii U Pro Controller for $4 at Walmart but I can't find the picture right now.

I forgot to include some pictures:

A friend found this at a garage sale for $20 and gave it to me.

I found this at Goodwill for $10. I jailbroke it so I can play non-US games and homebrew.

These were cheap enough to justify an impulse purchase:

It doesn't have great specs but I just had to(because my computer broke) get a new gaming computer. My old one was about 6 years old so I am enjoying being able to throw everything at it.

The fun bits:
AMD Ryzeb 5 2600 6-core 4.4GHz
AMD RX 580 4GB
8GB DDR4
500GB SSD

Not bad specs! Sounds like you'll have a reasonably good rig to start playing games with a little more power behind it all.

Finally picked up a copy of Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero that I've been putting off until I could find it physically. At Goodwill I found this Wii bundle that included all cords, two controllers + 2 nunchucks + an extra controller, all manuals, a stand, and a cover less case that contained Mariokart Wii. My brother then handed over the Wii games he did not want from his collection so I added those in. I'm waiting on an Ebay purchase that I was going to add but I'll just lump it into my next post whenever that is.

I don’t have too much luck finding PS1 longboxes locally, unless I go to my local retro store as they do pop up from time to time. I picked up the sports titles, Jumping Flash and Twisted Metal their. The rest I sourced from online. It’s funny, when I was a kid I had a PlayStation growing up, but I never knew the longboxes titles existed just the small cd jewel cases that the majority of the library is on. That’s honestly why I think I like them so much, they’re seem foreign to me yet so familiar.
