Holy crap, how is it I never noticed or even responded to this post?

Skip past the commercial.  The guy with the red shirt?  That is how I picture Zagnorch...

Also, I watched this whole thing the other night.

Great, now you got me wanting to not only track down one of those red button-down shirts, but also a light grey sport coat. I'll be the laziest cosplayer ever.

Sparked by events that led to the previous post, I've been hanging out on YouTube watching various shows discussing the Commodore 64, as well as several C64 commercials.

The C64 was still being widely used and talked about in 1988, when this premiered:

BTW I was just at the Toys-R-Us where the opening segment was filmed, and needless to say its look has changed immensely since then. But man, does that wall of game pick-up cards really take me back. I'm sure all you 80s & early-90s computer & console gamers can relate...

In other news, I think I'll start doing that "salute" they're doing in this commercial:

I discovered several C64 games to add to my wish list after watching this:

Aaaand finally, a silly comparison-shopping vidya with MetalJesusRocks:

You know, I'd quite forgotten about posting that.  Had me a chuckle, I did.  Good ol' Jim Butterfield. I still picture you that way, though with the Transformers mask, and armed to the teeth with Nerf guns and calculators.

Given how many C64 videos I watch online, I am surprised that I missed the "30 Years" one.  I ended up opening a document so I could copy down the names as they appeared, as well as an open ebay tab. First bit of cash I get goes to RFG, but the rest...

For those of us that never beat Tyson, this has to piss you off a bit.  Still, it's amazing to watch.

And I thought I was good at MTPO.  That would take a lot of practice.
