I hope your trip is fun!

I've been to all those places and many others in Italy, gotta love those trains.  Pompei and Mt Vesuvius was teh cool and well worth the time.  We went to Midnight Mass at the Vatican (Christmas 1995) and though I'm not Catholic, I really got alot outta it.
Enjoy!!!

I will box you.[lol what a great quote of mine]

In any case i payed a 3£(or was it €?) to get online for an hour.

I am pretty pissed becaue i am trying to find a work around to a blocker they have on Comcast so i can't open the window :-/

In any case been alot of fun thus far.
Seen all of the Vatican that was available to the public and a ton of other stuff i can't remember right now.

I have roughly 130 pics as of now.
Tonight is my last night in Rome and tomorrow i go to Naples.

To sum up the last hour or 2...
a bunch of friends whent out to 1 resturant that was a 10 min walk away a few went to the place next store that sells Indian food(i think they said...) and me and another kid hit the ATM and grabbed sandwiches on the way back to the hotel.

After eating i told him i was going out to run arou nd Rome and ended up doing a 2 or more mile loop up the street past the Colliseum(sp??) and finally back home.

It has bveen tons of fun thus far as i already said and thanks you guys for your best wishes.

I get home in 4 days.
So i should be back more regularly in 5(or maybe a few more for recovery/resituation time) days.

It was tons of fun.
I only ended up with just over 200 pics.

I will see what i can do about getting these online.
Laurel said she would be able to give me some temp webspace on her site.

We are also going to end up puttting the pics online for my school.

With my 200 pics and everyone elses 90 - 1.5k+ pics(one kid i think was close to 2k)
There is a frightening number of pictures.

It was alot of fun but at the same time it is really good to be home.

No more drinking though... Wink

Welcome back! Here are a few questions.....Were you able to venture off in small groups? or did you have to stick with the teacher's? I'm sure where you were, vintage games were scarce......however, did you find any? Did you get ride a gandola? My experience wouldn't be the same without my boat ride. Smiley It gave me a break off my feet. Touring Italy will put a toll on your feet.

Earlier you mentioned........

Rome, Vatican, Capri, Pompeii and i think another city or 2...

Were the other 2 any of these?
Venice *Favorite city*
Cinca Terra *Awesome little town*

Any how I'm sure you have amazing pictures and please keep us updated with a link when you put them up on the web.

I think my favorite was Rome.
It was so nice and had so much.
I did not go to Venice(so no gondola ride either) or Cinca Terra (or Pisa people keep asking about that one to.)
There where a TON of times we split off into smaller groups and romed around the city(ies).

There was the one night i went out by myself in Rome and walked over to the Colliseum(still can't spell it).
The next morning at around 6:30 me and a friend (Feet from the ninja pick) went back and he took a couple of pics of a Counterstrike game ad taped to it.
He took it down of course Wink

And i only saw 2 arcades and no games for sale. A fired of mine said he saw a NES Zapper for sale on the street when we were driving into Naples.

No but that would have been pretty cool.

On the note of Italian Popstars.
Madonna was ALL over Italian MTV.
She needs to stop before her ass really starts to sag.
